On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect and has been implemented in all local privacy laws across the entire EU and EEA region. As a company and leading language provider, Semantix is committed to complying with the GDPR in all services that we offer when enforcement begins.

What exactly does this mean for you?

As a Semantix customer, the GDPR provides you greater control over your personal data and assurances that your information is being securely protected. Semantix takes data protection and your rights related to your personal data seriously. How to report a Data Breach

At Semantix, information security and data protection are our highest priority. Should you encounter a security issue, we urge you to inform us as soon as possible – fill in the Data Breach Report form. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

What have we done

Semantix has for a long period worked continuously towards GDPR compliance. A dedicated GDPR team has made sure that all departments of our company have been involved in the work.

Among other things, we have:

  • trained our employees in GDPR
  • appointed country-specific GDPR ambassadors
  • updated internal procedures
  • updated our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions
  • made an inventory of our processing activities
  • created a ‘Rights of the Data Subject’ form on our website
  • sent out Data Processing Agreements to our suppliers.
